Wedding crashers

Kirt & I attended a very nice wedding this weekend. I kept saying I felt like a wedding crasher because I have only met the couple one time. Kirt worked with Preston for about a year at Interstate. We had a great time--except the fact that my dress was almost identical to the bridesmaids dresses! I wanted to run out of there after I noticed we were wearing the same color & style! Kirt thought it was pretty funny! You know it was a true southern wedding when the older men were wearing white suits!

paper on the floor and puts it in her mouth!

Sam didn't want to go on the "family" jetski ride but Emerson was excited!

What did you do today?

Nothing frustrates me more than my husband calling at 5:30 asking what I am doing! My standard answer these days is "nothing just sitting and eating cookies and reading a magazine" Seriously---I think he has no idea what I get done in one day! I thought I would share my Thursday activities!
  • 08:00- drop Sam off
  • Go to Target to grocery shop- with both girls! CRAZY! And every time I swear I will never take them again!
  • Bring Caroline home for a nap
  • 10:30- go get lunch at Arbys to bring to Sam at school
  • 11:00- Caroline & Emerson & I go to eat with Sam at school
  • play outside until Emers nap time and try to get Caroline down at the same time
  • Baked 7 dozen cookies for a funeral
  • Made lunch for my playdate for tomorrow (it was crockpot chicken for taco salad) and black beans nothing too hard
  • Clean my house for the playdate
  • Laundry
  • pick up Sam from school at 3:00
  • Watch Beauty & the Beast with the kids
  • Feed the kids soup & sandwiches then off to swimming lessons
  • T-ball game at 7:15 then get home and get kids to bed at 8:30 (LATE night)
  • Make lunches and get ready for the next day

And I always laugh when he doesn't understand why I am exhausted all the time!

Fun pool pictures

Andrew, Caroline & Elena enjoyed pool time today Max made sure Andy had his own "pool"
my bathing beauty
Basically this is the best purchase ever! This plastic pool from Walmart is a lifesaver! Just make sure you have a truck to bring it home or you may end up frustrated in the parking lot like I did! Luckily my husband went back to pick it up and tied it to the top of the car!

Andrew & Caroline

As you can see---Emerson is wearing her furry high heels out! She wants to wear them everywhere...school, church, the store, around the house. I am going to have to find a new pair when these wear out!
Andrew & Caroline had a little playdate! They were both practicing their scooting. They are very intrested in watching each other. We had so much fun with Meredith & Andrew. They even walked to school with us to get Sam. I'm pretty sure Meredith will never trust me again when I say something is "just around the corner" it was a lot hotter outside once we got started walking. But the babies had fun!
Emerson insisted on holding Andrew! His face makes me laugh because he looks so concerned about her trying to feed him. She is a very confident "little mommy"

Lake get away

We went to the lakehouse this weekend with Tracey & Josh and the kiddos. We had a great time and we can't believe it didn't rain at all when it was pouring in Dallas. It was still a little (alot) too cold to get in the water but we had a great time!
