Thursday Fun

We went to Planet Pizza today for a playdate with Brooke & Max. Emerson thought she was just as big as the other kids and rode on the spinning tea cups & the mini roller coaster. I didn't even buy her a ticket because I thought she was too little. I guess I will know for next time that I have TWO fearless children.

Brooke called this morning to see if Emerson could wear a matching dress.

Keep in mind that she is only 19 months old. She loved the roller coaster- she kept grabbing Grandma by the hand and saying "more, more".

Sam's favorite was the bumper cars!

Take a look at Max...he has his knees on the top of the bench. He is such a climber. Emer & Max wanted to ride so bad!

Andy & Emerson

These are the kinds of things that happen when Mommy has a terrible headache. Emerson tried to feed herself yogurt and then spilt it on her shirt. Sam told Andy to go clean it up so she was holding out her shirt for Andy to lick off the yogurt. My head hurt so bad I couldn't even do anything about it. Sam took the picture. He loves to take pictures with our camera.

Easter Sunday

Sea World Part 2

Spring Break

We went to Sea World with Tracey & Josh for Spring Break

Max & Emerson rode in the stroller together. Then Max bit Emma then Emma bit Max. We never knew one year olds would fight so much. Then they kept taking each others shoes off.

Tales from T-Ball practice

T-ball practice has to be the thing that brings joy to our week! This is just an example of what happens (and Emerson & I were only there for the last 30 minutes of practice) 1. Sam was playing 2nd base and the runner was going to second- the short stop had the ball. Coach said go to second- as you can imagine there were THREE little boys standing on second base- they were squished like sardines, each with 2 feet on second base. They are so literal- none of them knew why they were standing on second but all three of them were there. 2. Sam is on 2nd- well, he kinda kicks the dirt between first & second- he had his glove on his head like a hat when the ball came right to him. He scrambles around to get his glove on to get the ball. 3. Another little boy hit the ball and ran the bases backwards-3,2,1, home 4. We are still in the phase that they all love to see the shoe print that their cleats leave in the dirt. Should be a fun season.

Camping at the lake

We sat up the tent at the lakehouse for the kids to camp out!

They played inside of the tent for HOURS! I don't think they came out expect for time to eat!

Tyler, Jessie, & Sam all had great intentions of sleeping outside! However by morning time it was just Sam & Kirt. Everyone else had retreated indoors.

Jessie & Sam spent the morning trying to fly Sam's new kite.

Andy & Emerson watched the kite flying from inside!

Light snow in March

This was all the snow we could gather for our snow man!

Sam disassembled the snow man and threw him at Mommy!

Of course, my little girl didn't want to get her hands dirty! She stayed on the driveway and made terrible faces when you would show her the snow!

Hot chocolate was great afterwards! Did I tell you that these pictures were taken at about 6:45 in the morning? My kids are early risers like their daddy!

Trenchcoats!

Emerson is SO stylish even at 19 months old! Oprah says everyone MUST HAVE a trenchcoat! Emerson is on the cutting edge of fashion!

Pictures

Texas weather! This was the same day that we had ice & snow in the morning and then NO COATS? in the afternoon! I was suprised to find Emerson climbing up the fort by herself and sliding down! Sam was happy to help her!

Snow in March? Tuesday's light snow!
