Tales from T-Ball practice
T-ball practice has to be the thing that brings joy to our week! This is just an example of what happens (and Emerson & I were only there for the last 30 minutes of practice)
1. Sam was playing 2nd base and the runner was going to second- the short stop had the ball. Coach said go to second- as you can imagine there were THREE little boys standing on second base- they were squished like sardines, each with 2 feet on second base. They are so literal- none of them knew why they were standing on second but all three of them were there.
2. Sam is on 2nd- well, he kinda kicks the dirt between first & second- he had his glove on his head like a hat when the ball came right to him. He scrambles around to get his glove on to get the ball.
3. Another little boy hit the ball and ran the bases backwards-3,2,1, home
4. We are still in the phase that they all love to see the shoe print that their cleats leave in the dirt.
Should be a fun season.
