A fun day at the pumpkin patch

We had a fun play date today with Jackson, Maddox, & Peyton at the Pumpkin Patch!

Kirt's birthday

Kirt has a whole week of birthday celebrations! We had dinner at my parents Wednsday night, then we had dinner at Len & Peggy's Thursday and then Kirt and I have plans tonight! The kids love to play in Maggie's cage!

Kissing Cousins

Emerson loves to push Max down everytime he sits up and then she wanted to kiss him! I babysat Max while Tracey took Sam to a birthday party today!

Weekend trip to Austin

We went to Austin to visit Kirt's grandparents this weekend! We had such a fun & relaxing time! The kids looked so cute in their Longhorn attire! We rode the train at Zilker Park & had lunch at Shady Grove then dinner at Pappadeaux! We can't wait to visit Austin again!

We figured out why Emerson hasn't been gaining weight- but Andy has gained 10 pounds this last year!

Emerson loves to play hide & seek! She always wants to be the counter! Even though she loves to play with Sam's cars, she still has a bow in her hair!

Soccer- Go ROCKETS

Sam had his first soccer game of the season Saturday! He scored a GOAL! We were definetly the only ones at Braums at 10:00 in the morning for ice cream! But we had to celebrate! Emerson was there to cheer on her brother- decked out in all her jewlery.

Dallas Zoo

We went to the zoo today with Brooke & Max.

The kids had such a good time! The weather was perfect today!

Emerson is 13 months old now & Sam is 4 1/2!

Six Flaggs

We went to Six Flaggs! We took Brooke with us and left Emerson with Tracey & Josh. The kids had such a great time. Sam & Brooke rode the Log Ride, the Mini Mine Train, and every ride in Looney Toon Land. Their favorite was the antique cars.

Going away party

Ashlee is moving to Georgia in a few weeks! We had such a great time at her going away party! My parents watched all FOUR grandkids! Amazingly they were all asleep by 8:00 and slept all night!

First day of school

Sam had a great first day of school. He was so excited to see familar faces from last year! He is taking Spanish, Art, Music, Computer, PE, and Chapel. The classes are only about 10 minutes each, but he really enjoys it! He is going 3 days a week. I can't believe he starts kindergarten next year! Emerson is going through a phase of seperation anxiety- so she is so scared I am going to leave her at school when I drop off Sam! She still cries every Sunday in the church nursery!

I included the shaved eyebrow picture from when Sam was 2. My blog for today is all about the hair! Sam took the scissors to his own hair. Luckily it is pretty easy to cover up, unlike the time he shaved his eyebrow!

Swimming at the DAC

Today we went swimming at the DAC with Aunt Tina, Grandma Peggy, Misha, Tyler & Jessie! We had such a good time! Sam even braved the diving board & also the slide! He is such a dare devil doing cannon balls off of the diving board! I definetly would not have done that at 4 years old! He must get that from his daddy!

Emerson's 1st birthday

The Birthday girl! We had lunch with Daddy on her birthday and then Auntie Tracey had us over for dinner & cake! Mommy loves the hat! But Emerson will only keep it on long enough to get one picture!

One year old & she pushed with step stool all around the kitchen! She is walking very well now! Mommy & Grandma Karen spent a LONG time making the cake!
