Kemah

We had a great time in Kemah. The kids loved riding the train and feeding the stingrays (Well, actually Grandpa Gary fed the stingrays- we watched)

More Day 2

Emerson loved that she could reach the botttom in the kids pool- it was like a hot tub in there! It was so HOT!
My parents took Sam out to fly his kite. He was really excited.
Sweet little beach baby!

Favorite Pictures

first day

Sweet picture of Max
We loved eating on the patio with the ocean behind us.
Here is a picture of our condo living area.
We had such a great vacation to Pointe West. It is about a 6 hour drive and the kids did wonderful. We went with my sister and her family and my parents. There are 2 pools at the resort and then of course the beach and the bay. We stayed on the beach front this year.

We have Hermit Crabs- yes 2 of them!

Puma & Express Their home sweet home
Sam earned 2 hermit crabs by making 100's on all of his
spelling tests in kindergarten. We were so proud of him.

Sleeping Beauty

We have been having some sleeping issues with Emerson- she figured out how to get the child lock off of her door. One night I resorted to sitting outside her door with a wooden spoon and threatening her but she didn't care. So the last 2 nights we just ignored her constant in & out of her room and this is what we found when we were going up stairs to go to bed! The second night she even had her pillow with her. She was prepared to wait it out! She is now waking ME up at 6:15 in the morning! Ugh! I know it is just a phase but it seems like this is lasting too long!

Kickoff to summer party

I decided that we would start a new tradition and throw the "Kickoff to Summer" party. We suprised the kids with a HUGE waterslide and ice cream sundaes. They were super excited. What a great way to start the summer. I probably started this party idea just so I wouldn't be so sad that Sam was going to be done with Kindergarten. I almost cried at graduation when they played the graduation song. It will be nice not having a schedule to follow, but I'm not so sure about entertaining 3 kids for 3 months! Summer here we come!!!
I just thought my beverage bucket was cute!
I can't believe I got the perfect picture of Brooke in the air! Sam also had about 9 friends over but I will not publish their pictures without permission! Tracey & Emerson Emerson & Brooke

T-ball Game

He LOVES to slide
There is nothing that I enjoy more than sitting at the baseball fields cheering Sam on in his game! So much fun shelling peanuts for Emerson and watching a game. Luckily t-ball season is in the cool breeze of the fall or the nice warming weather of the spring- excluding the rain! I will miss t-ball and Sam really enjoys it so I know we will return for coach-pitch next year.

bridesmaid???

Well, I wasn't planning to post this but since Jessica & Tracey both posted it I might as well since most of my readers also read their blogs! I will let Jessica tell the story..... Note to self---NEVER wear an old bridesmaids dress to another wedding no matter how cute it is! http://hurricanetankersley.com/
