I included the shaved eyebrow picture from when Sam was 2. My blog for today is all about the hair! Sam took the scissors to his own hair. Luckily it is pretty easy to cover up, unlike the time he shaved his eyebrow!

Swimming at the DAC

Today we went swimming at the DAC with Aunt Tina, Grandma Peggy, Misha, Tyler & Jessie! We had such a good time! Sam even braved the diving board & also the slide! He is such a dare devil doing cannon balls off of the diving board! I definetly would not have done that at 4 years old! He must get that from his daddy!

Emerson's 1st birthday

The Birthday girl! We had lunch with Daddy on her birthday and then Auntie Tracey had us over for dinner & cake! Mommy loves the hat! But Emerson will only keep it on long enough to get one picture!

One year old & she pushed with step stool all around the kitchen! She is walking very well now! Mommy & Grandma Karen spent a LONG time making the cake!

First Steps & Swimming lesson update

Emerson took her first steps today- 3 days before she is 11 months old. We are so excited. She is pretty fast crawling and she is definetly a climber! The baby-proofing from when Sam was little needs some updating. Sam is taking swim lessons- he was doing so good in his beginners class that they moved him up to level 2. He is with ages 7-9. He was so intimidated that he started crying in the pool today saying he wanted to go back with the little kids on the steps. He is swimming about half-way across the pool with his face in the water.

Sam's Flag Football

Well, Sam had his first Flag Football game this week! He did AWESOME! He was so excited everytime he would pull a flag! He even played both defense & offense when he got the flag & recovered the fumble for a touchdown! We were so proud! Being tall has its advantages on the football field. Here are a few pictures of him.

I had to brag on the dress that I made for Emerson! I was so proud of it. She is not walking yet but she loves to walk holding onto things. She is 10 months old already!

Sam is 4 and already riding without training wheels! We have only had one major crash! He learned the importance of knee pads & elbow pads!
