Emerson had to go to timeout for the first time today for throwing her plate on the floor- over & over again! She was so obedient and went and sat down in the corner (she has watched Sam do it enough times) she thought we were playing a game. Everytime I would turn my back she would stand up and then sit down and laugh when I caught her standing. Sam loves to make sure she stays in the corner. He says "nose to the corner". But she hasn't thrown her plate down since then!
We are thrilled to announce that there will be a new baby Ruby late August or early September! Sam & Emerson are SO excited! Sam was sworn to secrecy but when I went to pick him up at school he had told the ENTIRE school that his mommy had a baby in her tummy! Also, if you look at the quotes from Sam listed on the right- I really had no idea I was pregnant when I typed that!
We celebrated Grandma Peggy's birhday at the DAC for lunch with the Rubys. Sam & Tyler love to play basketball at Grandpa & Grandmas.

Brooke & Sam LOVED to carry around the bucket with all of the fish and show all of the other people what we had caught. I didn't see anyone else catching much. We came home with 9 trout. Much thanks to Uncle Russell for cleaning them for us!

Kirt took Sam out on the ice- we went to Miracle Dallas on Saturday night with my mom & dad. I thought Kirt would be better at ice skating than me so he had the duty of going with Sam.

The Rocket Fishing Pole kept Sam VERY busy. We didn't catch any fish but he had fun
