Napa Day 4

Napa Day 3

For my Bachelor watching fans, this is the castle that Jake, Vienna, and Gia went to in Napa. It was an awesome view
We got up REALLY early every morning because the time is 2 hours different. The fog was so pretty though.
This is a famous bakery in Yountville. The line is always out the door- we got some great cookies and bread. Thomas Keller is a famous restaurant owner who also owns French Laundry- which is rated in the top 50 places in the world that is also located in Yountville- it is about $500 per person for dinner. We walked by a few times and looked at it but we opted to have food at Bouchon instead since it was the same owner.
Rutherford Hill
Proof that you should look at the menu before you sit! After I read "Warm Lamb tongue" and "Pigs feet and Rabbit pate" we left.
We had dinner at Boggetta- if you watch the the Food Network it is Michael Chiarello's restaurant. Delicious Italian food!
The sunset

Napa Day 2

Jeff and Brinkley suggested that we tour a small winery located in a cave called Caldwell. It was so nice- it was Kirt & I and the owner, John Caldwell. He taught us all about making wine and the different grapes and where they grow best. It was very intresting and now it makes sense why they charge so much for wine after seeing how much work goes into it!
We went to Napa and had lunch at a place called Angeles- best french fries ever!
This is a view from the place we had dinner called Brix. It gets very windy at night but very warm about 75-80 during the days

Napa Day 1

We stayed in a town called Yountville. It was a very charming and quiet town. Our room
Kirt & Jeff relaxing the day of the wedding
Our awesome car-- we got upgraded to the convertible because it was our anniversary
This is the hotel that the wedding took place. It was on a mountain overlooking the valley. It is one of the most gorgeous sunsets in Napa Valley.
