Chicago Cousins

Kirt's cousins came in town from Chicago for the weekend! There will be 10 adults and 8 kids plus the Ruby family! We got together at Len & Peggy's to swim and acclamate them to the 102 degree weather! Then last night the adults went out and we took them to Fireside Pies downtown. It was HOT on the patio but they had misters and fans! The picture above is Suzane, Tina and Misha

Today we went to the Dallas World Aquarium with the Coonans! A great indoor activity!

Playtime

The kids love not having a schedule this summer! Emerson has been playing non-stop with her new birthday gifts! We went to Target (3 different Targets) this morning (because her mommy found a pair of boots I HAD to have) and Emerson used her birthday money to buy this cute salon chair to fix her baby Julie's hair- in fact Sam is brushing her hair right now.

Magic Time Machine

We had a last minute idea to take the kids to Magic Time Machine as a suprise! They LOVED it! I am so glad we went.

Cinderella, Snow White, Tinkerbell, Woody from Toy Story, Mr Incredible, Scooby Doo characters- they are the waiters and they are happy to sign autographs

The kids had a magic potion drink- they were pineapple juice, oj, and sprite over dry ice so they bubbled and smoked. The kids were a little scared to drink them then they found out they were delicious.

Grilling out at the Beach Club

Sam loves to float in the lazy river

This was hilarious- we came outside to find Max putting sun screen on Emerson. He did a great job!

Caroline like the outside shower more than the pool or the beach! She would have stayed here forever!

Could she be any cuter in her Matilda Jane dress?!

The kids loved their "Sand chairs"

Can you see the tornado on the right side of the screen?! It was awesome- you could even see the water swirling into the tornado!

Emerson's birthday party

Our little Emerson Grace turns 4 next weekend! We started off the birthday week with her party at ASI gymnastics. You can see from the picture above that she couldn't wait to get home and dress her American Girl doll, Julie, in her new outfit. Thanks Halle & Lucy Kate for baby Julie's new outfit! Emerson wanted Julie's picture taken too in her new clothes.
