Happy birthday Sweet Caroline

First Day

My big 4th grader- he was excited to start school.   His teacher's husband works with Kirt.   We were excited that we got a great teacher.
My big Kindergartner.   She did great at drop off.   No tears- from her or us.

The kids did great at drop off today.   Emerson didnt even cry on her first day of Kindergarten.   She was excited to give her teacher her gift and sat down and colored.   Sam did fine too.    No tears from Kirt or I either.    After drop off I had breakfast with my Sunday School Class for a Ya-hoo Boo-Hoo breakfast.   Caroline is happy to have me to herself again- she has smiled all day.

The adventures of baby Sara

Baby Sara was a Christmas gift a few years ago from my Grandparents.    She quickly became Caroline's favorite.   She has been everywhere with us- here are a few of her adventures- that is until tragedy struck last week.
Here she is at the beach
 And at the Drs office
The pictures are out of order--but last Friday night baby Sara had a huge tragedy.    Emerson accidently pulled her arm off- Baby Sara had gotten stuck between the seat and door in the car and when Emerson tried to get her the arm tore off.    I thought Caroline was going to be so sad- but since she watched Shark Week last week on Discovery Channel and also she had seen the movie Soul Surfer about Bethany Hamilton getting her arm bitten off by a shark she got creative.    The first thing she said- is "It's OK- Baby Sara is just like Bethany now".    She would not let the baby doll back in her room to sleep until I sewed her arm back on.    Now she is ok again (her arm might be sewn on backwards but Caroline didn't notice)   She loves her anyways.

 Fishing at the ponds
She had all her babies lined up and asked me to come take their picture.
They go to the swimming pool in their shopping cart.
And on a boat ride.

I'm a Barbie Girl

 The goodie bags
My balloon garland.   I worked really hard on these.   I had 6 kids to help blow up all 50 balloons!
Roses on pencils that are made out of duct tape.   I will definetly make these again for teacher gifts!    I think these 6 year olds loved them!

 Our matching vintage barbie shirts
 The birthday girl!
Barbie even came to the party.   It was great- she told them a story, played games, went on a treasure hunt, and did balloon animals and makeup.
