December Lakehouse

We went out to the lake house for only 2 days- its a nice break from the busy life.    We happened to go when there was a cold front so we stayed in and played games and did puzzles.     Sam brought his new sling shot and his BB Gun and his remote control boat so he LOVED going to the lake!

Christmas 2013

My mom and her sisters on Christmas Day 

My Uncle James got to come on Christmas Day- we were so happy to see him.    He doesn't talk much but when we were little he used to tease Tracey & I ALL the time!   Nice to see him smile!

We had SUCH a good time with this sweet baby!    My cousin Michelle and Drew had this sweet baby girl, Kenley Grace (named after Michelle's dad)    We loved on her and enjoyed having a baby in the family again!

We found the kids under the tree while everyone else was eating.   They were "sorting" until Sam said lets open a gift on the count of three and sweet Caroline did it- not knowing that no one else planned to!

Christmas Eve Candlelight service at church.    She was SO excited hold her own candle and would not let me help her!   

State Champs & Christmas Parties

We went to the State Champion Football Game in December.  My Uncle Mark went with us.   We had so much fun hanging out with him.

Caroline brought us this gift home- she was so excited for us to open it.    Love the homemade Christmas ornaments.    They are my favorite ones on my tree.

Caroline's Preschool Party

The girls performed a Christmas Program at their dance studio.   They are taking jazz.

December Photos

The girls and I got all dressed up and went to the Nutcracker at Bass Hall in Ft Worth.   Very fancy-   the girls were so good and very excited to get dressed up.    I guess they acted their ages- Emerson dropped her shoe and had to climb over the seat in front of us.  Caroline got the giggles during the second half- but overall I hope we get to make this a tradition!
