Napa

Kirt and I got to get away for a few days- thanks to my parents watching the kids and his work convention!    We had a great time!    We went back to Napa Valley- our favorite vacation spot!     Here are a few pictures!  (First the phone pictures)

 Palmaz Winery was defiently a perfect experience- we had a private tour of the cave & vineyard- Mr Palmaz is invented the Heart Stent & bought his wife a vineyard!

 We also went to Barnett Vineyards- it was beautiful.   We like the ones off the beaten path.   We also did a private tasting here.    We just don't enjoy the crowds or standing at a table to do a tasting with  30 other people.   This was our favorite one out of both of our trips to Napa.

Lakehouse Fun

 We got to sneek away to the lakehouse for about 24 hours this weekend!    Such a good reset button!

Paint Before/After

Here is the before & after of a headboard that I bought on a garage sale facebook site last week!    I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in French Linen & then used the Cricut to stencil the letter on in a pink paint.   Emerson is loving her new bed!

I was on a role!    I also painted these outdoor chair--not with Annie Sloan- it is strictly for indoor use.   They are a Martha Stewart Schoolhouse Slate- I love the way they turned out!

 Caroline is going to Kinder next year!   So long Pre-k!

 Her friend AJ LOVES to play with Caroline and wanted to buy her a gift.   He gave her a beautiful necklace & earrings- she was so happy.   His mom said she had to talk him out of a wedding ring!   HA!

May madness

 Our ABF at church that we have been a part of for over 5 years served today by helping the widows and elderly in the neighborhood by helping with yard work.

 The kids painted flowerpots to give to someone in their own neighborhoods.

 Sam's football team won back to back championships.    Such a fun team.

 This month we also had a celebration of my Grandpas 80th birthday and Mothers day- so my mom made this super cute cake to include both =)
