Sam's Valentines Party was today. I am the room-mom for his class. We made heart picture frames and the kids decorated them with stickers and then they made a tissue-paper flowers for their moms. It started out VERY stressful because at 1:40 I went to load the car to go and could not find my keys--- I looked everywhere. By 2:00 I was in tears crying because I was going to have to walk with both girls and all of my stuff to the school and have 16 kids waiting on me and did I mention the party started at 2:00! I called my friend to see if she could come get us and then around 2:10 found my keys in the laundry basket. Sweet little Emerson said, "Mommy, we could just pray real hard for your keys". So she did! It wore me out just being that stressed! UGH! First on the to-do list is get a spare car key!

Caroline got to see her best friend, Buttercup the gerbil. She cried and threw a fit when it was time to go! She stood there saying "Buttercup! Buttercup!" for about 30 minutes!

Sam keeps sorting thru his loot!

Emerson did great at the party. She loves to be a helper so she passed out the treats and drinks. All was good until I realized she was taking candy from the kids boxes- a few of the kids were so kind and kept hugging her and giving her things. Then one little girl got really mad at her for taking her candy and Emerson started crying and yanking the candy away! Talk about a huge meltdown! I guess thats what happens when you take her without a nap! The kids were so kind and so well-mannered and so thankful for their party. It really makes my heart happy how sweet and well-mannered the kids in Sam's class are! Well, unless you are a 3 year old trying to take their candy!

Sam made a football shaped box to keep his Valentines in!

Here is the flower he made for me!

On Valentines day we made chocolate covered EVERYTHING! We did strawberries, marshmellows, bannanas, and graham crackers! Delicious!

And had a delicious dinner of pork tenderloin, roasted garlic potatoes, and asparagus and apple-blue cheese salad!
