Sam took 1st place in his Pinewood Derby this weekend! We were pretty surprised that he won but he did! And he was so excited! He even said "I am so happy I think I might sleep in my scout uniform". He was bouncing around bright and early at 5:30 a.m. ready to go to the district race. He didn't do so well at that race but he didn't care because he had his metal from the night before! He brought his car and metal to school on Monday!
Max, Emerson, & Brooke--- my parents, Tracey, and Kirt's parents all came to cheer for Sam!
