The ice storm hit Tuesday so no school- we spent a cozy day at home making soup and watching a movie. The kids were so sweet and Kirt even stayed home from work. Caroline and I are both sick again so we took a nap and relaxed.
THEN WEDNSDAY COMES.... not so cozy and cuddly anymore- between the rolling blackouts and eating our way through the day--they are destroying my house and every toy and crayon has been touched today! Then to top it all off (see picture below)
Miss Caroline Rose has escaped from her crib. Really? of all days- TODAY? I think they know I am defeated. I am not sure I can handle another snow day tomorrow! I can't even try to sleep off my illness because there is no napping for these little monkeys! Kirt can't get home quick enough!
(And yes, I know Caroline is wearing a halloween shirt and polka dot tights but it doesn't even bother me at this point)

I know, mine are stir crazy too! I think we will brave the roads tomorrow for a chik-fil-a run, just so they get out of the house and get to run around!
