So, as you can tell we found a new toy! Sam & Brooke had so much fun today playing on the slip-n-slide. (Yes, I read the warnings that they were dangerous, risks of neck injuries, etc. etc.) I have a feeling that this will probably be the only time they play on it! Most things that take some blowing up don't last too long at our house. My sister also went on the slip n slide- I have pictures but I will save those and not post them- I think she would be pretty upset! We have had a long week- even though Monday was a holiday it seemed to drag on! We are busy trying to get Emerson's new room ready and we are also expecting company this weekend! We can hardly wait to see Jessica, Randy, Jack & Lula! We have been looking forward to their visit for a long time! We now have Emerson's big girl room set up, Sam's bunk beds set up and I crackle painted a dresser this week!
We also got some scary news about Andy- (our golden retriever) Andy will have surgery on Monday to remove a tumor that we found- we hope & pray that it is a benign cyst. Andy was our first "baby", we got him the year we got married- he is already 8 years old! He has gotten lots of attention and treats this week after we found his cyst.
